OBITUARY: “Chuck” Glinn

Charles William Glinn, the son of Myral “Curly” and Opal (Frank) Glinn, ws born at Omaha, Nebraska, on September 11, 1941, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 6, 1998, at the age of 56 years, 11 months, and 25 days.

He grew up and received his education at Elliott and Griswold, Iowa area, and graduated from Griswold High School. Following graduation, he farmed on the family farm.

On August 11, 1963, he was united in marriage to Colleen Haas at Griswold, Iowa. After their marriage he was employed by various chemical and seed corn companies and they lived in several Nebraska towns, and in 1979, they moved to Aurora. In the past years he has worked for several Hamilton County farmers.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Colleen of Aurora; one son Kurtis and his wife Carol of Aurora; two daughters, Kathy Parks and her husband Jason of Lincoln, and Kris Wilson and her husband Rod of Aurora; and a grandson Jake Parks.
