Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 26, 1993 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Minnie Graf

Minnie Gertrude Lentz Graf, the daughter of Edward and Dorcas (Peck) Rains, was born at Wolbach, Nebraska, on March 27, 1910, and died at Grand Island, Nebraska, on January 23, 1993, at the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 11 days.

She grew up in the Wolbach, Cushing area, and other communities.

On May 27, 1930, she was united in marriage to Lester Lentz at York, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1969. They lived in Aurora, and she worked at the Farmer’s Union Creamery from 1959 to 1970, when she went to work for the Memorial Hospital in Aurora until 1976.

On October 22, 1976, she married Everett Graf at Aurora. He died November 9, 1990. At the time of her death she was living at the Wedgewood Manor in Grand Island.

Minnie was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and one brother Clyde Rains.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are 2 sons, L.R. “Pete” Lentz (Jeanette) of Grand Island, and Gerald Lentz (Ann) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. One daughter, Norma Jean Paneitz (Ardean) of Grand Island; one brother, John Rains of Columbus; 6 sisters, Alice Plant and Ella Dieckman both of Aurora, Ruth Humrich of Longview, Washington, Edith Brenning of Lincoln, Grace Mitchell of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mabel Reubsamen of Grand Island; 5 grand children, and 3 great grandchildren.
