Funeral Services were held 1:30 P.M., Monday, May 6, 1985 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Greenwood Cemetery in York, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Lula Granstrom

Lula Anna Taylor Granstrom, the daughter of James and Lucy (Bishop) DeBusk, was born at Atlantic, Iowa, on September 12, 1896, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 3, 1985, at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 12 days.

She moved to Custer County, Nebraska, at an early age, where she grew up and attended schools.

On May 10, 1916, she was united in marriage to Les Taylor at Sargeant, Nebraska. They continued to live in Custer County until 1923, when they moved to York County. In 1962, they moved to Aurora. Mr. Taylor preceded her in death on June 28, 1963.

In November 1972, she married Carl Granstrom at Aurora. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1981, and her last 8 years were spent in the Long Term Care Unit of Memorial Hospital in Aurora.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Aurora, the Rebeccas and Extension Clubs in York County.

Lula was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 3 brothers, 6 sisters and 2 infant children.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are one son Floyd Taylor of Boulder, Colorado; 2 daughters, Elinor Keller of Aurora and Margaret Adkisson of Lincoln; 2 step-daughters, Margaret Birchler of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and Virginia Morgan of Aurora; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
