Linnea GreenFuneral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 18, 1992 at the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. Interment was held in the Richland Cemetery near Marquette, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Linnea Green Linnea Lea Green, the daughter of Jens Peter and Inez (Emal) Ebert, was born at Marquette, Nebraska, on January 18, 1930, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on April 15, 1992, at the age of 62 years, 2 months, and 27 days. She attended the 1st grade at Marquette Schools, and then the family moved to Aurora, where she graduated from the Aurora High School with the class of 1947. She lived in Aurora until her marriage. On January 29, 1955, she was united in marriage to John Green, at Aurora. They farmed near Marquette, until they retired and moved to Aurora in October of 1984. She was employed at the Christian Book Store, worked in the meat department at Jim’s Foods, worked at Lippencott Industries, was a housekeeper at the Hamilton Manor, and worked in housekeeping at the Nebraska Youth Leadership Center. Linnea was a very active member of the Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dale Ebert, and 2 sisters, Donnice Kissel and Edna Palmberg. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, John of Aurora; one son, Rev. David Green of Rockford, Illinois; one daughter, Paula Green of Denver, Colorado; 6 sisters, Ina Jo Meyer of Albert Lee, Minnesota, Norma Rae McKeehan of Tucson, Arizona, Zelda Bush of Lincoln, Mildred Noble of Sparks, Nevada, Marian Blaycock of Winnemucca, Nevada, and Irma Madison of Aurora; 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. |
