Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Monday, June 13, 1983 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Andrew W. Griffith

Andrew W. Griffith, the son of Ernest and Daisy Brown Griffith, was born at Carleton, Nebraska, on October 8, 1911. His death occurred at his home near Aurora, Nebraska, on June 10, 1983 at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 2 days.

He spent his childhood in the vicinity of his birth and received his education in the public schools of that area.

On May 10, 1932 he was united in marriage to Gertrude Neuhart in Kansas. They lived near Carleton, Nebraska until 1937 when they moved to Hamilton County, where they have since farmed. Five children blessed their home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Judson Griffith and one sister Mrs. Mabel Rachow.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Gertrude; two sons, Albert of Aurora and Eugene of Marquette; three daughters, Mrs. Genene Willis of Aurora, Mrs. Barbara Weems of Ord, Nebraska and Mrs. Linda Marquardt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two brothers, Eldo and Daniel Griffith both of Carleton, Nebraska; 16 grandchildren, Gerald, James, Sandra and Steven Willis; Wayne Griffith; Cynthia Walls, Cheryl Fierstein, Lori Griffith, Kevin Griffith, William Griffith, Douglas, Pamela, Lisa and Amy Weems, Grand and Jennifer Marquardt; three great-grandchildren, Sara Willis, Crystal Walls and Andrew Griffith and many other relatives and close friends.
