Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 12, 1989 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Central City Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Albert Grigsby

Albert Ray Grigsby, the son of Ray and Helen Moore Grigsby, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on April 14, 1914, and passed away at Grand Island, Nebraska, on June 9, 1989, at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 25 days.

He grew up on the family farm near Aurora and attended country school.

On December 29, 1945, he was united in marriage to Gladys Nelsen, at Topeka, Kansas.

Albert farmed on the family farm before moving to the present farm. He was the owner and manager of Grigsby Sand and Gravel for 25 years, and retired in 1977.

He enjoyed his hobby of woodworking.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Perry and Donald, and one infant daughter Diana.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Gladys, of Marquette, 3 daughters, Judy Moore of Marquette, Joyce Collingham of Aurora, and Jane Kurz of Palmer. 2 brothers, Jerome (Bill) of Aurora and Robert of Central City; 4 sisters, Elizabeth Critel of McCool Juncion, Irene Budnick of Hampton, Bessie Brahmsteadt of York and Betty Land of Aurora; 9 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
