Helen Grosvenor

Helen Gertrude Grosvenor died Monday, July 17, 1995, at the Nebraska Masonic Retirement Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, after a series of heart problems she had suffered over the past year.

Private services directed by the Higby Mortuary staff were held in Aurora, Nebraska with the Reverend Fred Trimble officiating.

Burial was in the Aurora Cemetery.

In her youth Mrs. Grosvenor attended Aurora schools and Hastings College, where she was an Alpha Phi Sorority member and studied voice under Dr. Fuhr. She served as the Aurora City Librarian for some years and was active in the Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and served as a community volunteer.

Survivors include her daughter Betty Grosvenor Saunders of Omaha; her son Robert Grosvenor of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; her granddaughter Mrs. Trudy Saunders Bredthauer, of Omaha; her three grandsons Greg Grosvenor, Tipton, Missouri; Jeffrey Grosvenor of Jefferson City, Missouri; Todd Grosvenor, Jefferson City, Missouri, and six great grandchildren.
