Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 24, 1994 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Lillie Gustafson

Lillie H. Gustafson, the daughter of Hans and Meta (Johansen) Nelsen, was born at Omaha, Nebraska, on December 25, 1989, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on January 20, 1994, at the age of 95 years, and 30 days.

She grew up and attended school northwest of Hampton, and worked as a nurse in the Aurora Hospital until her marriage.

On March 20, 1931, she was united in marriage to Carl Gustafson at Wahoo, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1950. They farmed northwest of Aurora. In 1955 she moved to Aurora and lived with her sisters. She worked as a special nurse in post surgery, and also was custodian of the E.U.B. Church for a number of years. For the past 2 years she and her sister have resided at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Lillie was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Richard and his wife Beverly of Aurora; one daughter Darleen Day Meyer of Edina, Minnesota; one sister Agnes Nelsen of Aurora; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren.
