Allan Hagelin

Allan Hagelin, age 80, of Lakewood, Colorado died Friday, September 17, 2010, at Lakewood.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 25th at the Aurora Cemetery. No Visitation. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. OBITUARY: ALLAN HAGELIN

Allan B. Hagelin, the son of Berndt and Edith (Berggren) Hagelin, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on June 18, 1930 and passed away at Lakewood, Colorado on September 17, 2010 at the age of 80.

He grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School. Allan then graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Allan was united in marriage to Miriam McConaughey on September 7, 1952. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force at Lowry Air Force Base. He was employed by Martin Marietta for 36 years. Miriam passed away on June 28, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his daughter, Melissa A. Hagelin of Lakewood, Colorado; sister-in-law, Dorothy Miller of Aurora and numerous cousins.
