Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, December 27, 1994 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Glen Hagemeister

Glen Ernest Hagemeister, the son of August F. and Maggie (Hinton) Hagemeister, was born near Giltner, Nebraska, on February 6, 1925, and died at his home in Aurora, Nebraska, on December 22, 1994, at the age of 69 years, 10 months, and 10 days.

He grew up and attended schools in Hamilton County, and worked on the family farm until his marriage.

On December 26, 1954, he was united in marriage to Bethine Anderson at Aurora. Plans were made to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on December 26th. After their marriage, he worked for Farmer’s Union Creamery and farmed in Hamilton and Clay Counties. He also drove a District 4R school bus for a few years. In January of 1993, he retired and moved into their present home in Aurora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Orvis, and 2 sisters, Lorena Eicher and Ruby Forte.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Bethine of Aurora; 2 sons, Ardean of Tucson, Arizona, and Alan of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter Jennifer Luther of Aurora; 3 brothers, Ervin of North Bend, Oregon, Gene of York, and August of Phillips; one sister Doris Iliff of Aurora, and one grandson, Matthew Luther.
