Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 6, 1986 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Greenwood Cemetery.

OBITUARY: McKinley Hanger

McKinley Hanger, the son of Lynn and Belle (Evans) Hanger, was born on a farm near Giltner, on July 6, 1896, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 3, 1986, at the age of 90 years and 27 days.

His entire lifetime was spent on the farm where in later years he cared for his father and step-mother, Flora Belle (Cole) Hanger. The last few years of his life were spent at the Bethesda Care Center in Aurora.

Kenny was a member of the Greenwood Methodist Church and later the United Methodist Church in Giltner. He was also a member of the Keystone Lodge #62 A.F. & A.M. and had received his 50 year pin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Harry, and a sister Susie Paulus.

His only survivors are nieces and nephews and many friends.
