Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 12, 1994 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Lucille Hanke

Ida Lucille Hanke, the daughter of Fred and Mary Ida (Robinson) Hanke, was born in Beatrice, Nebraska, on October 6, 1905, and died at Yuba City, California, on August 8, 1994, at the age of 88 years, 10 months, and 2 days.

She grew up and received her education in Beatrice, and was employed by Blue Valley Grocery House for 8 years as a billing clerk in Beatrice, and then was a billing clerk for Minnegasco for 33 years in Aurora. She and her sister Grace lived in Aurora, and following the death of her sister she moved to Grand Island, and recently had moved to California.

She was a member of the Aurora Messiah Lutheran Church, and served on the altar committee for 10 years. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Vesper Chapter No. 9, and was officer of the First point of Star for 2 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother Mary Elizabeth Hanke; 3 brothers, Clarence, Willard, and Luther; and her sister Grace Hanke.

Survivors include a nephew Robert Hanke of Yuba City, California.
