Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 12, 1992 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.
OBITUARY: Janis Hanson
Janis Lynn Hanson, the daughter of Ross and Shirley (Cramer) Krabiel, was born at Hastings, Nebraska, on July 12, 1960, and died at the farm home northwest of Aurora, on August 9, 1992, at the age of 32 years and 27 days.
She graduated from Aurora High School with the class of 1978, and then attended the University of Nebraska for one year.
On September 22, 1981, she was united in marriage to John Hanson, at Aurora, Nebraska.
In February of 1984, she began nursing school at Kearney, and took a leave of absence for the birth of their son John Ross, and when he was 4 months old, she went back to school in June of 1985, and took her baby back and forth with her, and graduated in December of 1985. In June of 1986, she began working for Bethesda Care Center as Charge Nurse, a position she still held at the time of her death.
Janis was baptized in the old E.U.B. Church as a child, and was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Glenn and Mabelle Krabiel, and her maternal grandfather, Clifford Cramer.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, John; one son John Ross, 2 daughters, Alissa Anne and Jenilee Rebecca; her parents, Ross and Shirley Krabiel, all of Aurora; one brother Monte Krabiel of Kearney, one sister Sheryl Krabiel of Grand Island, and her maternal grandmother Iva Cramer of Aurora.
Janis was a caring person, and made lasting friendships.
