Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 11, 1988 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Cedar View Cemetery in Doniphan, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Michael Happold

Michael James Happold, the son of James and Marilyn (Pavey) Happold, was born at Grand Island, Nebraska, on March 6, 1965, and passed away at Giltner, Nebraska, on January 7, 1988, at the age of 22 years, 10 months, and 1 day.

He attended school in Giltner, and graduated with the class of 1983. During his school years he was active in football and basketball, and was a member of the 8 man all-star football team. Following his graduation he was involved in farming with his father and Larry Sullivan.

Michael was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Giltner.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Edgar Happold.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his parents, James and Marilyn Happold of Doniphan; 2 brothers, Jeffrey and Joseph; 2 sisters Marla and Jessica Happold, all at home. His grandparents, Edward and Margaret Pavey of Giltner, and his grandmother Dorothy Happold of Doniphan; many other relatives and close friends.
