Glenna (Bottorf) Heath
Glenna (Bottorf) Heath, age 82, of Geneva, formerly of Aurora, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at the Fillmore County Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 24th at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: GLENNA (BOTTORF) HEATH Glenna Nadene Bottorf Korn Stephens Heath, the daughter of Freeman and Blanche (Turner) Bottorf was born in Aurora, Nebraska on June 17, 1928 and died in Geneva, Nebraska on December 21, 2010, at the age of 82. Glenna attended school through the 8th grade. After Glenna was united in marriage, they moved to Idaho and then Minnesota before returning to Nebraska in 1964. Along the way Glenna worked as a waitress, a factory worker and owned her own herb store. After Ronald Stephens passed away, she moved to Geneva to be closer to some of her family. Glenna enjoyed going to the Geneva Senior Center. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Lawrence Korn, Ronald Stephens and Dean Heath; son, Randy Korn; three sisters and one brother. Those who remain to cherish her memory are four children, Gary (Chris) Korn of Belvidere, Terry Korn of Grand Island, Diana Hutchins of Grand Island and Dick (Char) Korn of North Platte; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Freeman (Shirley) Bottorf of Grand Island and two sisters, Evelyn Estil of Emmett, Idaho and Delpha Miller of Aurora. |
