Vivian Hedlund

Vivian Hedlund, age 88, of Aurora, died Thursday night, August 8, 2002, at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 12th at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Aurora. Rev. Karl Larson will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the Church. Memorials may be made in care of the Evangelical Covenant Church. OBITUARY: VIVIAN HEDLUND

Vivian Carolina Hedlund, the daughter of Lewis and Ida Augusta (Erikson) Hedlund, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on December 5, 1913 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on August 8, 2002, at the age of 88.

Vivian attended and graduated from Aurora High School in 1934. After graduation she worked at and managed the Hesteds Store for 22 years.

Vivian was a life-time member of the Aurora Covenant Church and attended there her entire life. She taught Sunday school and worked with youth groups for many years.

Vivian lived in Aurora her entire life and until recently had lived in the same house in which she was born.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her one sister, Alice.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her brother Mel Hedlund and his wife Vera of Aurora and a nephew Louis Hedlund and his wife Carla of Lincoln; two great nieces, Maggie and Anna Hedlund of Lincoln and many other friends.
