At an early age Margaret’s family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, where she grew up and attended school.

On March 10, 1914, she was united in marriage to Adam Heiser at Council Bluffs, Iowa.

In 1914 they settled on a farm four and a half miles west of Stockham, Nebraska, and in 1948 they moved to another farm northeast of Aurora where they lived until they moved to Aurora in 1950. Adam went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 1968. Margaret continued to live in her home until she entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora in 1983.

After their marriage Margaret and Adam attended the Mennonite Brethren Church at Eldorado, Nebraska. Both to them received Jesus Christ as Savior during evangelistic meetings at the church in January of 1923. The following summer both were baptized upon profession of their faith and became members of the church. Margaret and Adam remained faithful and true to the Lord until their death.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, John S. Heiser, and two sisters, Elizabeth Heiser, and Katherine Weber.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her three sons, Floyd of Henderson, Everett of Aurora, and Clarence of Lincoln, and nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
