Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, January 13, 1983 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Ord Cemetery in Ord, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: William Helleberg

William Jens Helleberg, the son of Peter and Christina (Jensen) Helleberg, was born at Ord, Nebraska, on August 14, 1902, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on January 10, 1983, at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 26 days.

He was raised in Ord, Nebraska, and on March 2, 1930, he was united in marriage to Zelda Turner at Ord.

He was a section foreman for the CB & Q Railroad for 48 years, spending most of his time in Aurora and Ord. In 1967 he retired and spent 13 years traveling with his wife. In June of 1981 they moved into the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

William was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hordville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Curt Gudmundson and one infant son.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Zelda; one son Richard and his wife Jacquelyn of Hastings; a sister May Ferris of North Bend, Oregon; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many other close friends.
