Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 12, 1986 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Ord Cemetery in Ord, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Zelda Helleberg

Zelda M. Helleberg, the daughter of Charles and Laura (Stacy) Turner, was born at Ord, Nebraska, on June 28, 1905, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 10, 1986, at the age of 81 years, 2 months, and 12 days.

She grew up and graduated from Ord High School.

On March 2, 1930, she was united in marriage to William Helleberg at Ord. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1983.

Her husband worked on the railroad, and they lived at Kenesaw, Elyria, Giltner, Aurora, and then Ord for 3 years. In 1967, they retired and spent 13 years traveling. In June of 1981, they moved into the Hamilton Manor at Aurora.

Zelda was a member of the Hordville First Baptist Church, and as in the Rebecca Lodge for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one infant son, James.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Jacquelyn Helleberg of Hastings; 2 sisters, Jennie Brown of Norfolk and Myrle Zelewski of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
