Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 21, 1986 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Valborg Henderson

Valborg Hansine Henderson, the daughter of Hans and Anna Hansen Pedersen, was born at Kronborg, Nebraska, on July 3, 1903, and passed away at Marquette, Nebraska, on March 18, 1986, at the age of 82 years, 8 months, and 15 days.

She received her education in country schools District #58, and completed her schooling at Marquette.

On April 30, 1922, she was united in marriage to William Jensen. They farmed in the Kronborg vicinity until his death in 1961. After her husbands death she sold the farm and moved into Marquette.

On September 3, 1964, she married Norman Henderson at Kronborg. After a year in California, they returned to Marquette. Norman preceded her in death on September 19, 1978.

Valborg was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one sister Erna Rasmussen and one brother Goodwin Pedersen.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Allen of Milpitas, California and Alton of Hayward, California; four step-sons, Donald Henderson of Milpitas, California, Harold Henderson of San Jose, California, Johnny Henderson of Sedro Woolley, Washigton and Richard Henderson of Los Gatos, California; and 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Shirley of Cupertino, California, Mrs. Geraldine Keys of Cupertino, California, and Mrs. Ruth Culbertson of San Jose, California; a sister-in-law, Mildred Pedersen and a nephew Donald Rasmussen; 10 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and close friends.
