Donald Henne

Donald L. Henne, age 68, of Phoenix, Arizona, died Tuesday, March 31, 2008 at Phoenix.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 19th at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. Pastor Chris Kester Beyer will officiate. A private family memorial service will be at a later date. Inurnment will be at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery at Kronborg. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. OBITUARY: DONALD HENNE

Donald Lee Henne was born April 27, 1939 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Harold Henne and Pauline Norgard and died in Phoenix, Arizona on March 31, 2008, at the age of 68.

Donald attended school at District 81 and Central City graduating from Central City High School in 1957. He worked as a commercial artist.

Donald was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. He was a member of the National Guard and American Legion.

Survivors of the immediate family include his mother, Pauline Nissen of Aurora; two half-brothers, Rex (Barb) Nissen of Aurora and Gary (Mary Ann) Nissen of O’Neill. There are also many cousins, nieces and nephews and two aunts Barbara Burke and Shirley Martin.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Delmar Nissen.
