Robin Hitzemann

Funeral Services were held 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, September 30, 1987 at the Hampton High School Auditorium. Interment was held in the Cedar View Cemetery in Doniphan, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Robin Dee Hitzemann

Robin Dee Hitzemann, the daughter of Robert and Delores (Meier) Engel, was born at Grand Island, Nebraska, on October 11, 1949, and passed away at Tecumseh, Nebraska, on September 27, 1987, at the age of 37 years, 10 months, and 16 days.

She attended school at District #53, and graduated from Doniphan High School in 1967. She later graduated from Parks Business College at Denver, Colorado, and then worked at Sears Credit Department in Grand Island.

On May 29, 1971, she was united in marriage to LaVelle Hitzemann at Doniphan, Nebraska.

They lived at Adams, Nebraska for 2 years, and in August of 1973, they moved to Hampton. She did child care in Hampton, and for the past year she was employed in the accounting department at Century Manufacturing at Aurora.

Robin was a member of the Hampton United Lutheran Church, and was active in Sunday School teaching and Vacation Bible School. She was also a member of the Busy Moms Club.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband LaVelle; one son Scott; 2 daughters, Trista and Andrea, all at home in Hampton. One brother, Chris Engel of Grand Island; 2 sisters, Linda Boggenreif and Shelley Walklin both of Lincoln; her parents, Robert and Delores Engel of Doniphan; her grandmother Anna Meier of Doniphan; and many other relatives and close friends.
