Audrey Hollenbeck
Audrey Hollenbeck, age 84, of Aurora died Friday, April 1, 2005, at her home. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, April 5th at the Aurora Cemetery. Rev. Sheryl Kester Beyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. OBITUARY: AUDREY HOLLENBECK Audrey Ion Hollenbeck, the daughter of William and Emma (Fernau) Henderson, was born in Ainsworth, Nebraska on October 14, 1920 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on April 1, 2005, at the age of 84. She grew up in the Long Pine and Ainsworth area. Audrey attended country school through the 8th grade. Audrey was united in marriage to Calvin Lentz and they had three sons. They raised their children in the Ainsworth and Long Pine area and then moved to the Rushville area due to his job with the railroad. She was married to Doyle Hollenbeck and they lived in Long Pine area. Audrey moved to Aurora in 1982 and has been in the Aurora/St. Paul area ever since then. She always made sure she was close to her children and grandchildren. Audrey's joy was spending time with all of them. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Lentz; granddaughter, Pamela Lentz and eight siblings, Violet (Violet), Vivian (Sister), William (Buck), Lavina (Toots), David (Cotton), Leonard (Son), Elizabeth (Sis) and Lyle (Manny). Audrey is survived by her two sons, Larry Lentz of Taylor and Pat (Maria) Lentz of St. Paul; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. |
