Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Monday, February 18, 1991 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Phillips Cemetery in Phillips, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Sherrill and Melissa Humrich

Sherrill RaVae Humrich, the daughter of William and Opal (Foland) Schwensen, was born at Fullerton, Nebraska, on February 8, 1944, and passed away at Phillips, Nebraska, on February 13, 1991, at the age of 47 years and 6 days.

She grew up and attended school at Fullerton, and then lived in Central City and Aurora.

On March 10, 1967, she was united in marriage to Bob Humrich, Jr. at Aurora, and they resided in Phillips.

On February 28, 1968, Melissa Ann Humrich was born to this union, at Aurora, Nebraska. Melissa passed away on February 13, 1991, at Phillips, Nebraska, at the age of 22 years, 11 months, and 15 days. Sherrill was a very devoted mother to Melissa, and spent many hours each day loving and caring for her. Melissa, Sherrill and Bob, shared in a common bond of love in the years they had Melissa.

Sherrill was a member of the United Methodist Church. She loved antiques and flowers, and was an expert seamstress and outstanding cook.

Sherrill is survived by her husband Bob (Doc) Humrich, Jr. of Phillips; one son Barry, serving in the United States Army in Germany, one daughter Sherry Stahl of Colorado; 2 brothers, William Schwensen of Ord, and Larry Schwensen of Grand Island; 2 sisters, Glenda Schwensen of Norfolk and Tammy Krzycki of Grand Island; 4 grandchildren, and her parents, William and Opal Schwensen of Fullerton.

Melissa is survived by her father, Bob (Doc) Humrich, Jr. of Phillips; one brother Barry of Germany, one sister Sherri Stahl of Colorado; her maternal grandparents, William and Opal Schwensen of Fullerton, and her paternal grandparents, Bob and Ruth Humrich of Longview, Washington.
