Bert HudnallFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 15, 1997 at the Aurora Assembly of God Church. Interment was held in the Plainfield Cemetery in Bradshaw, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Bert Hudnall Albert Edward “Bert” Hudnall, the son of Roy and Bessie (Ferris) Hudnall, was born at Boelus, Nebraska on March 8, 1923, and died at Aurora Nebraska on August 12, 1997 at the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 4 days. He attended grade school at Palmer, and graduated from Elm Creek High School. He entered the Navy in February of 1943, serving until January of 1946, when he went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad as a station agent at Bradshaw. On February 14, 1948 he was united in marriage to Erma Schmidt at Grand Island. He continued as a station agent in Bradshaw until moving to York to serve as a station agent. In 1964 they moved to Aurora where he worked as agent operator at the Aurora Depot. Bert retired in March of 1983. He was past Commander and life member of V.F.W. Post 4993, and a member of Lester S. Harter Post #42-Aurora American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Evelyn Fisher. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Erma, 2 sons, Gary of Percival, Iowa and Mark of Walton, Nebraska; one daughter Margo Stenson of Aurora; one sister Della Mae Lombard of Lincoln, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. |
