Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 17, 1990 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Catholic Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Jesse B. Jackson

Jesse Bernard Jackson, the son of Wallace and Alice (Fagan) Jackson, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on October 23, 1905, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on March 15, 1990, at the age of 84 years, 4 months, and 2 days.

He grew up at Hampton, and graduated from Hampton High School. He then went to barber’s school, and worked several places before coming to Aurora, when he worked for another barber and later bought the shop from him, which he operated in the same location until he retired in 1975.

On July 26, 1927, he was united in marriage to Luneal Olson at Lincoln.

Jesse was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora, and had belonged to the Lions Club and the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.

He had always been interested in raising dogs, including some show dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Don.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Luneal of Aurora; one son J.B. Jackson, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann of Aurora. 2 grandsons, Christopher of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Patrick of Columbus, Missouri.
