Memorial Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 6, 1990 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Allen Jensen

Allen Francis Jensen, was born December 22, 1933, at Sioux City, Iowa. His parents were William and Valborg (Pedersen) Jensen.

He grew up, and graduated high school from Marquette in 1953. From 1953 to 1956, he served in the United States Navy. In 1956 he returned to Marquette, until 1962, when he moved to Alameda, California, and lived various places in California. In 1985, he returned to Marquette.

On April 9, 1988, he was married to Janice Mae Rowe, at Marquette.

Allen was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Janice of Marquette; 2 step-sons, John Cooksey of Modesto, California and Dennis Cooksey of Tracey, California; 3 daughters, Cathryn Zumwalt, Charlotte Nugent, and Carla Wyrick, all of San Bernadino, California; 4 step-daughters, Cheryl Burks of San Jose, California, Sheryn Moore and Donna Cooksey, both of Tracey, California, and Denise Cooksey of Aurora; his twin brother, Alton of Milpitas, California and 19 grandchildren.
