Deborah Jensen

Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 8, 1998 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg, Nebraska. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Deborah Jensen

A. Deborah Jensen, the daughter of Otto and Ingborg (Johnson) Chader, was born at Hordville, Nebraska, on November 27, 1916, and died at Grand Island, Nebraska, on December 4, 1998, at the age of 82 years, and 7 days.

She grew up and received her education at country school district #94 near Hordville.

On March 25, 1951 she was united in marriage to Arnold Jensen at Marquette, Nebraska. They farmed near Hordville all their married life. In December of 1997, she entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

She was a member of the Marquette United Methodist Church, and attended the Mamre Evangelical Free Church near Marquette. As a witness to her faith, she chose to be baptized on December 2, 1998.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Vivian Chader, and a brother Delane Chader, and a sister-in-law Leona Johnson.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Arnold, of Aurora; four daughters, Opal Christensen and her husband Roger of Lincoln; Colene Andersen of Kearney, Pauline Quiring and her husband Gordon of Hampton, and Adell Woodson and her husband Rick of Bena, Virginia; two brothers Evvard Chader and his wife Frances of Central City and Carl Yngve Chader of Grand Island; 12 grandchildren, and one great grandson; two sisters-in-law, Ragnhild Jensen of Aurora, and Eileen Chader of Hampton.
