Garry Jensen

Garry Jensen, age 49, of Hampton died Saturday evening, November 4, 2000, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Dr. Joe Scahill will officiate. Interment will be in Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., Tuesday at Higby Mortuary in Aurora.

OBITUARY: GARRY JENSEN

Garry Lee Jensen, the son of C. Denzil and Grace (Price) Jensen, was born in Aurora, Nebraska on February 14, 1951 and died in Hampton, Nebraska on November 4, 2000, at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 20 days.

He grew up in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High School in 1969. Garry attended Hastings Tech for one year.

Garry was united in marriage to Lois Caster on November 30, 1974 at the First Christian Church in Aurora. They farmed north of Hampton for 30 years.

He enjoyed being part of the racing team for his son’s mini sprint cars. Garry also enjoyed flying as a hobby. He was past president and board member of the United Co-op in Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C. Denzil and Grace.

Survivors include his wife, Lois of Hampton; two sons, Randy Lee Jensen and Simon Ray Jensen both of Hampton; two sisters, Darlene Klute of Hampton and Dianna Hinkle of Lincoln.
