Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 28, 1988 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kronborg.

OBITUARY: Ida Jensen

Ida S. Jensen, the daughter of Peter and Katrina (Rasmussen) Larsen, was born at Kronborg, Nebraska, on December 6, 1893, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 26, 1988, at the age of 94 years, 9 months, and 20 days.

Her entire lifetime was spent I the Kronborg area, where she attended country schools.

On February 24, 1915, she was united in marriage to Thomas C. Jensen at Kronborg. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1971.

They farmed in the Kronborg area, and in 1965, they retired and moved to Grand Island. Ida has lived at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora since February of 1981.

Ida was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and a son-in-law.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her one son Maynard of Grand Island; one daughter Elenora Pettit of New Castle, Pennsylvania; one brother Harold Larsen of Aurora; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
