Linda M. Jensen

Linda M. Jensen, age 55, of Grand Island, formerly of Aurora, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 4th at the of Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the National Diabetes Foundation. OBITUARY: LINDA M. JENSEN

Linda M. Jensen, the daughter of Richard and Lorraine (Thayer) Green, was born in Palo Alto, California on June 14, 1947 and died in Grand Island, Nebraska on March 1, 2003, at the age of 55.

Linda was a nurse's aid at Hamilton Manor for many years until she became disabled about eight years ago. She had MRSA and was a diabetic. Linda enjoyed doing crafts, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Linda was especially close to her granddaughter, Shelby, who volunteered most of her free time at Park Place Nursing Home, where Linda stayed for the past six months. During her stay at Park Place Linda was president of the Resident Counsel and volunteered her time there helping out the residents. Linda was a fun and loving person and will be truly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Raymond George of Crete; daughter, Barbara (Darryl) Krecklow of Grand Island; sister, Carol (Johnny) Arno of Fox Island, Washington; 6 grandchildren, Roxanne and Clarissa George of Goehner and Brandon, Shelby, Tanner and Kylee Krecklow of Grand Island and her best friend Nance (Jeff) Doell of Giltner.
