Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 9, 1983 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Cecilia Jorgensen

Cecilia Carolina Jorgensen, the daughter of Peter and Dorthea (Miller) Williamsen, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on February 14, 1902, and departed this life on February 7, 1983, at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 23 days.

In 1908 the family moved to a farm near Kronborg and she attended country school there. In 1921 she moved to a farm on the edge of Marquette. While living there she was employed in Aurora. In the early 1920’s she moved to Denver, Colorado where she was employed.

On May 12, 1925 she was united in marriage to Joseph Jorgensen at Denver, Colorado. In 1927 they moved back to the Marquette area and have lived on several farms since that time.

She was baptized and in 1916 was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, 1 son and 1 grandson.

Those who survive are her husband Joseph; 3 sons, Aller of Grand Island, Roger of Longmont, Colorado and Clyde of Marquette; 1 sister Myrtle Williamsen of Marquette; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
