Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 20, 1995 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Catholic Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Brent Joyce

Brent Alan Joyce, the son of Gary and Karen (Mersch) Joyce, was born at York, Nebraska, on March 9, 1973, and died at Lincoln, Nebraska, on April 17, 1995, at the age of 22 years, 1 month, and 9 days.

Brent was physically challenged, and had resided at the Beatrice State Developmental Center for the past 13 years.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora.

Brent was preceded in death by his grandfather Martin Joyce.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his parents, Gary and Karen Joyce of Aurora; one brother Todd of Giltner, a sister Tari Obermeier of North Platte; his paternal grandmother Hilda Joyce of Aurora, his maternal grand parents, George and Emma Jayne Mersch of Aurora, aunts, nieces and nephews, and a special friend Steve Boerger of Beatrice.
