Martha Kerr

Martha Kerr, age 96, of Grand Island, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Golden Living Center Lakeview in Grand Island.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 18th at the Aurora Cemetery. Rev. George Oxford will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation with a Prayer Service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.

OBITUARY: MARTHA KERR

Martha Kerr was born in Ohio on August 8, 1914 and died in Grand Island, Nebraska on December 14, 2010, at the age of 96.

Martha was united in marriage to Arden Maro Kerr on February 18, 1936 at Daly City, California.

Following their marriage they lived in California where her husband was in the grocery business. In 1972 they moved to Aurora and in 1973 they moved to Grand Island, where she has since lived. Arden passed away on February 13, 1990.

Martha was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Grand Island.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are nephew, Dan Bosanko of South Carolina, nieces in Ohio and California and her church family in Grand Island.
