Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 15, 1995 at the United Methodist Church in Phillips. Interment was held at the Phillips Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Hazel Killion

Hazel Emma Killion, the daughter of Robert and Dora (Goebel) Killion, was born at Phillips, Nebraska, on Sepetember 19, 1895, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on February 11, 1995, at the age of 99 years, 4 months, and 22 days.

She grew up and attended schools in Hamilton County. She was later employed as a telephone operator and bank cashier in Phillips, and worked at the Cornhusker Ordinance Plant in Grand Island. When she moved to Aurora, she kept house for her brother-in-law, Joe Millsap, and cared for her niece Kathy Millsap. For the past several years she has resided at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Hazel was a member of the Phillips United Methodist Church, and belonged to the Phillips Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Lemuel and Robert Killion, and 2 sisters, Irene Millsap and Margaret Collins.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Charlotte Killion of Aurora, nieces and one nephew.
