Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 7, 1985 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Lydia Kissel

Lydia Ellen Kissel, the daughter of Alexander and Clara (White) Miller, was born at Utica, Nebraska, on October 4, 1900, and passed away at Phoenix, Arizona, on March 4, 1985, at the age of 84 years and 5 months.

Her entire lifetime had been spent in Hamilton County, except for the past few years which were spent in Arizona.

On June 1, 1921, she was united in marriage to Myrle Kissel, at Stockham, Nebraska. They farmed in Hamilton County, and later moved into Aurora. Myrle preceded her in death on February 3, 1974.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Myrle, Jr., and one brother Wilbur Miller.

Those who survive are 3 brothers, Clarence Miller of Arlington, Kansas, Rupert Miller of Valparaiso, Florida and Russel Miller of Gulf Breeze, Florida; a sister-in-law Mrs. Sam Ross of Aurora and 5 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
