Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 13, 1987 at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Estella Kraus

Estella (Zehr) Kraus, the daughter of Steven and Naomi (Jacobs) Pollard, was born on a farm southeast of Aurora, on January 3, 1889, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 10, 1987, at the age of 98 years, 7 months, and 7 days.

She married Solomon B. Zehr, on February 3, 1909 at the home of her birth. They lived on the farm and later moved to Aurora. To this union two daughters were born. Her husband Solomon, passed away on August 9, 1954.

On November 28, 1958, she was united in marriage to Charles A. Kraus. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1984.

She was a member of the Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora, and attended regularly until her health failed, and then continued attending services at the Hamilton Manor.

At the time of her death she was residing in the Hamilton Manor in Aurora, where she had lived since March 1974.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and 11 brothers and sisters.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her two daughters, and their husbands, Leta and Ezra Kremer and Doris and Loren Hunnicutt of Aurora; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A step-daughter and her husband Eleanor and Ralph Springer of Aurora; 3 step-granddaughters, and 4 step-great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
