Alice KremerFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 9, 1993 at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Alice Kremer Alice Mildred Kremer, the daughter of John and Katie (Schrock) Troyer, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 13, 1906, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 6, 1993, at the age of 86 years, 8 months, and 23 days. She grew up near Aurora, and attended the Aurora Schools, graduating with the class of 1923. After graduation she taught school, and then attended Chaffey Junior College in California, where she also worked in the college office. She then taught rural school until her marriage. On June 12, 1932, she was united in marriage to Maurice Kremer, at Aurora. He preceded her in death on February 10, 1990. They farmed southwest of Aurora, and in 1939 they moved to the south edge of Aurora, and in 1959, they moved into Aurora. Alice entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora in 1991. She was a lifelong member of the Pleasant View Bible Church, where she was very active. She served in many leadership roles, including playing piano and organ, teaching Sunday School, Awana club, Christian education, and was instrumental in bringing Christian Women’s Club to Aurora. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Senator Maurice Kremer. Those who remain to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Kenneth and Robert both of Aurora; 2 daughters, Ardys Roszhart of Aurora and Beth Stucky of Jefferson City, Missouri; one brother Glen Troyer of Aurora; 15 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. |
