Kenneth KremerKenneth Kremer, age 66, of Aurora died Thursday morning, June 1, 2000, from a machinery accident at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday at the Aurora School Theatre. Revs. Paul Nauman, Barry McCormick and Jerry Breese will officiate. Interment will be in Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M., Sunday at Higby Mortuary in Aurora. Memorials may be made to Campus Crusade Athletes In Action. OBITUARY: KENNETH KREMER Kenneth Duane Kremer, the son of Maurice Albert and Alice Mildred (Troyer) Kremer, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska on May 22, 1934 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on June 1, 2000, at the age of 66 years and 9 days. He grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School in 1952. He graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois in 1957. Ken then went to Korea as a Missionary for Campus Crusade for Christ for 7 years. Ken was united in marriage to Lila Warfield on December 28, 1963 in Long Beach, California. After serving together in Korea, they moved to Texas for Campus Crusade in 1967. In 1971, they returned to Aurora so his kids could grow up on a farm. He farmed with his dad and his brother. Through his efforts and churches of Nebraska, 30,000 Jesus videos have been placed in homes. The last few years he traveled with Campus Crusades to Russia, Hungary, Turkey, South Korea and Costa Rica. He has touched many lives in Aurora, the state of Nebraska, and throughout the country. He was an active member of Pleasant View Bible Church and a member of the choir. Ken led many Bible studies in Hamilton County. He played trumpet in the Hamilton County Band. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Lila of Aurora; four children, Gregg of Aurora, Brian and his wife Julie of Camarillo, California, Susan Williams and her husband Stuart of Aurora and Julie Nelson and her husband Kirk of Cody, Wyoming; one grandson, Cody Kremer of Camarillo, California; brother, Bob Kremer and his wife Bev of Aurora; sisters, Ardys Roszhart and her husband Herb of Marquette and Beth Stucky and her husband Norman of Jefferson City, Missouri. |
