Anna KreutzFuneral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 10, 1989 at the United Church of Christ in Harvard, Nebraska. Interment was held in the Harvard Cemetery. OBITUARY: Anna Kreutz Anna Cecilia Kreutz, the daughter of Abraham and Suzanne (Friedly) Zimmerman, was born at Guide Rock, Nebraska, on October 19, 1894, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on April 6, 1989, at the age of 94 years, 5 months, and 17 days. She grew up at Guide Rock and graduated from high school there, and then attended Peru State College. She then taught country school for 5 years before her marriage. On June 15, 1918, she was united in marriage to Arnold Kreutz, at Superior, Nebraska. After their marriage they farmed northwest of Harvard and on February 29, 1944 they moved to the present farm near Phillips. Anna was a member of the Harvard United Church of Christ, and belonged to the T P M Club at Phillips, and the Glendale Club at Harvard. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, one son Max Kreutz, a granddaughter Patricia Kreutz, and 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Richard Kreutz and wife Lois of Phillips, one daughter Norma Kreutz of Denver, Colorado; a brother Emil Zimmerman of Red Cloud; one granddaughter, one great-grandchild; and a daughter-in-law Rhoda Kreutz of Aurora. |
