William L. Kropp

Bill Kropp, age 76, of Aurora, died Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at his home in Aurora surrounded by family.

Services celebrating his life will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 23rd at the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Rev. Seth Leypoldt and Father Ken Vavrina will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. Friday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. OBITUARY: WILLIAM L. KROPP

Bill Kropp was born in Stanton, Nebraska on April 7, 1927 to Carl and Hannah (Holtman) Kropp, and died in Aurora, Nebraska on August 19, 2003, at the age of 76.

Bill was united in marriage to Dolores Kane on January 8, 1949. His life's work included 38 years in public education as a teacher and coach in Norfolk, Dodge, Clarkson, Aurora and Grand Island. In 1987, he retired to Aurora where he continued a life of service through volunteer efforts.

Bill loved to teach and coach. He made a difference in the lives of the students and athletes he taught over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Dolores of Aurora; four children, son and daughter-in-law, John and Karen Kropp of Grand Island; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Stan Greenfield of Lincoln; daughter, Judy Kropp of Aurora; son and daugther-in-law, Tom and Sonja Kropp of Kearney and 7 grandchildren, Sam, Kari, Ben, Jenny, Jay, Pete and Dominique.
