OBITUARY: Sonja Lager

Sonja (Hafstrom) Lager, was born April 30, 1900, in Sweden, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 30, 1990, at the age of 90 years and 5 months.

She grew up in Sweden, and came to the United States with her husband to be. On March 16, 1922, she was united in marriage to Gust Lager in Hamilton County, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1960. The rest of her lifetime was spent in Hamilton County.

Sonja was preceded in death by her parents, and relatives in Sweden; her husband, and 2 sons, Leonard and Kenneth Lager.

She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Mulda Lager of Aurora and Betty Lager of Lincoln; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
