Harold LagoniFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 11, 1994 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Interment was held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. OBITUARY: Harold Lagoni Harold Olsen Lagoni, the son of Hans and Anna (Olsen) Lagoni, was born near the Kronborg Community, in Hamilton County, Nebraska, on November 23, 1911, an died at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 7, 1994, at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 14 days. He attended country school District #20, and lived on the home place in the Kronborg area most of his life, where he was engaged in farming. On March 24, 1938, he was united in marriage to Leona Nissen at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Harold was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg, and had served on the church council. He had also been treasurer of the Marquette School Board, and was a member of the Marquette and Hordville Lions Club. He enjoyed reading and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Peter, 3 sisters, Annette Marie Hansen, Anna Christina Christensen, and Viola Christensen; and infant daughter Linda Ann and an infant grand daughter Kristi Lea. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Leona; 3 daughters, Janice Kruses and her husband Don of Aurora, Linda Jones and her husband Leroy of Marquette, and Rhonda Lagoni of Madison, Wisconsin; 2 sisters, Emma Jorgensen of Aurora, and Alma Jensen of Fremont; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. |
