Warren Lakin

Warren Lakin, age 83, died Friday, October 6, 2006, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Fullerton.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 9th at the Aurora Cemetery. Rev. James Corson will officiate. No visitation. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at higbymortuary.com.

OBITUARY: WARREN LAKIN

Warren W. Lakin, the son of Charles and Ethel Lakin, was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 10, 1923 and died in Fullerton, Nebraska on October 6, 2006, at the age of 83.

He grew up in Omaha and graduated from high school. Warren enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1943 to serve during WWII. Warren served as an aircraft welder in the Philippines. He was honorably discharged in 1946. Warren then went on to work for the Union Pacific Railroad as a welder.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
