Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 9, 1985 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Kreidler Cemetery in Montrose, Minnesota.

OBITUARY: Susan LaMont

Susan M. LaMont, the daughter of Arch and Fetna (Brewer) Munden, was born January 24, 1893, at Vallonia, Illinois, and passed away January 5, 1985, at Aurora, Nebraska.

Her childhood was spent in Vallonia, where she graduated from high school. She later moved to Iroquois, South Dakota.

On September 20, 1917, she was united in marriage to Leon LaMont, at Iroquois. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1969.

They lived in Iroquois, South Dakota, then moved to Howard Lake, Minnesota and Montrose, Minnesota. After the death of her husband she moved to Nashua, New Hampshire in 1970, and in October of 1976 she moved to Aurora where she has since resided.

Susan was a member of the Methodist Church in Minnesota and while living in Aurora she attended the Christian Church. She was also a member of the Rebecca Lodge in South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Dorothy Michelsen, in 1975, and 8 brothers and 3 sisters.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her daughter, Phyllis LaMont, with whom she made her home in Aurora; 3 grandchildren, Linda Wakefield of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, Susan Errera of New Ipswich, New Hampshire and Jeff Michelsen of Woodsville, New Hampshire; 3 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
