Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 5, 1994 at the Aurora Assembly of God Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Lyle Lantzer

Lyle Robert Lantzer, the son of Charles and Nettie (Henderson) Lantzer, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska, on October 29, 1904, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 2, 1994, at the age of 89 years, 6 months, and 4 days.

He grew up and received his education in Hamilton County.

On August 4, 1928, he was united in marriage to Mary Kirkpatrick at Aurora. She preceded him in death on January 29, 1981. After their marriage they farmed in Hamilton County, and for several years Lyle did custom hail bailing. In 1967, they moved into Aurora, and he was involved in doing handy-man tasks in the community.

Lyle was a member of the Aurora Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, an infant son Fletcher, and a sister Mable Merritt.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his 2 sons; Donald and his wife Gladys of Middletown, Virginia, Gary and his wife Marcia of Grand Island; one daughter, Barbara Meinke and her husband Arnold of Crete; 2 sisters, Helen Iliff of Cozad, and Ada Green of Aurora; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
