Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 12, 1990 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Ada Larsen

Ada W. Larsen, the daughter of William and Mathilda (Neander) Carlson, was born at Marquette, Nebraska, on October 6, 1908, and passed away at Minden, Nebraska, on March 9, 1990, at the age of 81 years, 5 months, and 3 days.

She grew up in the Marquette area, and graduated from Marquette High School. She then attended Kearney State College and later taught school in Hamilton County.

On May 24, 1930, she was united in marriage to Peter Christian Larsen at Omaha. They farmed in Hamilton County until 1983, when they moved into Aurora, and in 1988 they moved to Minden to be near their daughter. Mr. Larsen preceded her in death on March 16, 1989.

Ada was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kronborg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Peter; brothers, Wayne and Otis Carlson, and one sister Eva Williams.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Allen of Ridge Crest, California; 2 daughters, Janice Olson of Minden and Shirley Just of Omaha; one sister, Rhoda McAvoy of Billings, Montana; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
