Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 18, 1989 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Peter C. Larsen

Peter Christian Larsen, the son of Jens and Rose (Lorenzen) Larsen, was born near Marquette, Nebraska, on December 4, 1902, and passed away at Minden, Nebraska, on March 16, 1989, at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 12 days.

He grew up and attended country school in Hamilton County, and began farming east of his families’ farm.

On May 24, 1930, he was united in marriage to Ada Carlson at Omaha. They continued to farm until 1983, when they moved into Aurora, and in 1988 they moved to Minden, to be near their daughter.

Peter was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Hans V. and Edward Larsen.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Ada, of Minden; one son Allen Larsen of Ridge Crest, California; 2 daughters, Janice Olson of Minden and Shirley Just of Omaha; 2 brothers, Holger Larsen of Olympia, Washington, and James Larsen of Central City; one sister Alvera Rahrs of Aurora; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
