Clarence Lash

Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 25, 1994 at the Aurora First Christian Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Clarence Lash

Clarence Martin Lash, the son of Clarence and Bessie (Hill) Lash, was born at Beatrice, Nebraska, on November 13, 1925, and died at Lincoln, Nebraska, on April 22, 1994, at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 9 days.

He received his education in Beatrice, and later began working in Lincoln at Western Electric.

On March 25, 1950, he was united in marriage to Edith Olson at Lincoln, Nebraska. They resided in Lincoln until moving to Aurora in 1952, when he began working for Pence Hardware, until 1960, when he began working as parts manager at the Farmer’s Union in Aurora until his retirement in 1987. Upon his retirement he worked part time for the Parks Department in Aurora, and also was seasonally employed at Northrup King at Phillips.

Clarence was baptized in the Aurora First Christian Church on March 18, 1956. He was also a member of the Grand Island Eagles Aerie No. 378, and belonged to the Platt-Duetsche Society in Grand Island.

He enjoyed fishing, boating and riding the lawn and garden tractors with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Edith of Aurora; 2 sons Jim of San Diego, California and Jeff of Lincoln; 2 daughters, Sharon Binderup of North Platte and Barb Perry of Phillips; 4 sisters, Mary Reigert of Lincoln, Jessie Kersten of Sprague, Dorothy Dill of Gretna, and Jean Jaggers of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
