Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 30, 1983 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Sadie Lewis

Sadie Lois Lewis, the daughter of Fred and Emma (Titman) Eckerson, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 30, 1896, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 28, 1983, at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 28 days.

She attended country school district #13, and on January 30, 1913 she was united in marriage to Quinter Lewis at Aurora.

They farmed until 1924, when they moved to Aurora, and in 1973 she entered the Hamilton Manor Care Home.

Those who preceded her in death were her parents, husband, 4 sons, Keith, Fred, Wayne and one infant son; 2 daughters, Alice Vetter and one infant daughter; and one brother Roy Eckerson.

She is survived by 2 sons, Ralph of Ipswich, England and Harvey of Conyers, Georgia; 4 daughters, Thelma Salmon and Hannah Miller of Aurora, Lois Lolmaugh of Yuba, California and Dorothy Campbell of Aurora; one brother Ray Eckerson of Aurora; 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
